SOAR Academies at Chestatee
At Chestatee, we are committed to helping each child find his or her best path.
We make sure to provide our students with the tools they will need to follow those paths.
Our goal is to guide each and every child to his or her best future!
When the academies are in session,
on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each student attends a PUSH class for thirty minutes each morning.
During PUSH, students needing extra help will receive remediation in reading or math.
Wednesdays are often devoted to exercises in logic and metacognition.
Other students spend their PUSH time reading or researching in an area related to their academies.
And when the academies are not in session, we continue PUSH remediation classes while the other students attend POWER, which provides enrichment in science and social studies.
